GVCA Artist Registry Policy

The Genesee Valley Council on the Arts maintains an Artist Registry to provide referrals for artists. Individuals and organizations seeking performers, teachers, or art specialists; as well as arts and cultural organizations in our area request information from this database. These opportunities range from commission work, giving classes to a mailing list for an exhibit or art/craft show.

While we send out lists for various types of inquiries, it is our policy to not recommend one artist over another. We may have additional information in our files regarding artists so feel free to call. It is the responsibility of the inquirer to contact the artist and negotiate the details of the opportunity.

Our in-house artist registry is available to any artist or organization that wants to be included. Membership in GVCA is not necessary to be included in this database. 

A privilege of membership in the Genesee Valley Council on the Arts is inclusion on our Web site's Artist Registry.  

Note: While artists under the age of 18 are included in our in-house artist registry, for safety reasons they will not be displayed on the website.
